Kate Bush – Hounds Of Love

My pressing is dated March 13 2024, it sounds and looks incredible. Almost no surface noise on mine and great sound quality of course. I know everyone doesn’t enjoy the novelty of colored records, but this is totally worth the money. One of the prettiest pressings in my collection for sure.

Gran trabajo y un gran precio para todos los que quieran este disco, que vale decir, esta muy caro en sus versiones de época o importadas. Sonido aceptable a bueno, no vino doblado y no tiene chasquidos. Edición DIGNA.

Reviewing every record in my collection:

I've compared to death this repressing to my NM original 85" Argentinian pressing of Hounds of love, and that one definitely has a more "bright" tone to it than this 2024 remaster (which, as I've mentioned before, is a completely different one to the other fish people reissues since it includes the album version of "The Big Sky" instead of the 7" remix) that sounds a bit "colder" to my ears

To be noted, this repressing of Hounds of Love has the album version of "The Big Sky" instead of the single mix present in every other reissue. Don't know if they used a previous master or if they created a new one, but so far this is the only post 2018 reissue of Hounds of Love to include it

Ok, first listen in after a light clean. Positives: it sounds amazing. Bright crisp wide sound. Her voice sounds as sumptuous as it ever has. Packaging is also really nice. Negative: there's definitely some noise happening, between songs fairly prominent loud crackles. It isn't audible when listening to the music on the whole. Couple of large clicks on RUTH. I will give it a proper wet clean and see what that does. For $100 AUD I would really have wanted it to be perfect but given its a colour record and that the sound is so great I'm just about happy with the purchase.

This CD remaster sounds better than my original LP. Usually, late-90s reissues are loud and unsubtle. This one is sublime.

The runout on my copy is not listed, on Side A it says "EJ 2403841 A-4U-1-3⥛TOWNHOUSE”, on Side B it says "EJ 2403841 B-7-1-1⥛" no TOWHNHOUSE etching on Side B, do I have a legit copy or bootleg?

The LP is overall GREAT, I got it in the boxset, as my old copy I bought a few weeks ago (the original dutch pressing) was full of clicks and pops.

I didn’t have that on this pressing except in “Hello Earth” that number is FULL of clicks and pops unfortunately.
I think this is a real shame as that song is so quiet that it is unlistenable

Everything else sounds almost perfect.

Perfect vinyl edition !!
The sleeve is beautiful and in a glossy finish, the vinyl in a gorgeous splatter pink color and the sound is all kinda perfect without any pops or cracks, smooth and clear !!

This is the go to vinyl version of this recording.
Sounds sublime.
