Casiopea's second live album that was recorded at Chuo Kaikan Hall in Tokyo, Japan on February 23rd and 24th, 1982. It was released on May 21st, 1982 under the Alfa Records label.
(NOTE: The pressing with the catalog no. ALR-20002 is the TRUE original Japanese pressing of this album. The catalog no. ALF 85869 was only used for the British and European releases of the album and NOT the Japanese release.)

From 2013-2018 I listened to this album every day while exercising, driving, and living. Would bring it to a desert island. I wish I bought it on vinyl then for $30 and not now for $100. Repress !
Edited 13 days agoGot my copy in the mail a while ago and cleaned it up, sounds very nice and dynamic. I did notice some sibilance in the drums during "Time Limit" and "Swear," but that may be because I'm using an elliptical stylus rather than a Shibata or micro-line stylus (the same thing happened when I played "Tears Of The Star" on my reissue copy of Casiopea). Upon close listening, this copy does appear to have the digital master glitching near the end of "Tears Of The Star," present on all re-releases of this album starting in 1987. It initially skipped near the end of "Swear" (by the end of the keyboard piano ditty) but after another playthrough with a slightly higher tracking force, the skipping seemed to be gone.
Overall, I say this reissue is alright given what I paid for (about $50 from Cromulent). It's better to play this using a Shibata or micro-line stylus to minimize any distortion. I wish they fixed the digital glitching in the master they used for this record.

This record is absolutely fantastic and may be the best record to choose when showing off your system, seek out your copy- Any thoughts on this pressing? I was curious about whether or not the glitches on "Tears of the Star" would show up on this release (as they have on many digital and streaming releases starting in 1987).

My copy sounds really good and super clean, one of the standouts in my collection, especially when it comes to some of the other recent represses I've gotten
