I snatched this up from the 12-in singles bin, hoping that in addition to the advertised remixes, it would at least also have the single version of "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun". That is not the case. I also assumed it was a 45 RPM, but this one is 33. Somewhat disappointed on all counts. The remixes are not great, kind of strange and without form. Gonna donate this back.

"Right Track, Wrong Train" has got to be one of the best non-album B-sides ever. It's camp, fun, catchy, high-energy, and so, SO Cyndi. Lyrics were a bit too avant garde in order to be a single, but I think sticking this at the end of side 2 of "She's So Unusual" would have made a great album even better!

I wish Cyndi lauper was my wife.really judging by the 2010 released Memphis blues album hanging up downtown in my city.its true to picture says it all be my husband.its outside a postcard shop in Abilene,tx.time after time Is one release in this year of 1983 the 80s were all Cyndi couldn't watch football without a flashback from here at the neighborhood bars jukebox.

the worst butchering of a classic i've ever assaulted my ears with. upon listening, the level of disappointment can only be described as UNFATHOMABLE. absolutely no structure or programming of any kind to be found here. just a total train wreck of chaos and complete lack of musicality. you'll find zero adherence to musical conventions. traditional phrase durations are nowhere to be found. elements come in and out at any number of measures. cyndi's vocals are brutalized into a choppy annoying mess. and to make it even more ridiculous the most obnoxious scratching noises are layered on top presumably to add insult to injury? who ever is responsible for this should be forced to apologize publicity to the music industry before being executed on national television for his heinous offenses to musicality. i'd rather have my teeth yanked out with pliers than listen to this record.
