From 1977 til about the end of 1983, Polydors' Irish office, in Dublin, issued irish pressings, of English artists, like The Jam, Siouxsie & The Banshees, Sham 69, and The Cure. To the best of my knowledge, the first and usually last run, was 500 copies. These were mainly issued, in those red Polydor, die cut sleeves. The first to use a standard English made sleeve, was Boys Don't Cry, by The Cure. At least :€250 today

In that time period, there was about 100 record shops, that would have got at least 4 copies, of a major release, like these.

100 used as promotion. ....a guess!

Any Polydor employees out there, to confirm this?

Hi, my copy has the 1st pressing sleeve but the matrix runout on side 1 is A//4 C 11 13. Is that a first pressing?

My copy of in the city has matrix number 2058 866 A//4C1 and 2058 866 B//4C1. It's in a picture sleeve side opening. ALLEN is stamped in run out on A side. Can't find it listed please help.

My runout has 2058866 A // 3 C 11 12 on side a. And 2058866 B // 4 C 13 12. Anyone know anything about this one? With a red Polydor sleeve.

There is another american pressing of Polydor (PD 14462) which has "I need you (for someone)" as b-side.

This Belgium edition appears to have a rear sleeve unique to this issue havings adverts for other LPs rather than the typical sleeve with Jam pics and release info.

Where is the 1982 UK re-issue? Surprised it's not on here, especially when they were all re-issued the year they split up.
