classic friggin record. don't know what more to say about it. Killing Moon is my favorite but that is pretty obvious. Bring on the Dancing Horses is another gem.

Great sounding best of! I really appreciate the picks, including The Rescue and, of course, the most famous one, The Killing Moon.

My copy matches the runout listed as Variant 3, and contains the folded booklet/insert. My copy appears super glossy and overall sounds full and expansive, with much more depth and punch than my US Sire copy of Ocean Rain. However, I’m not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but on the Killing Moon (and to a lesser extent Silver)- Ian’s sibilants are super sharp, spitty and distorted whereas the rest of the instrumentation and vocals are unaffected. This is not apparent on Side A at all, and seems isolated to just those two tracks with Silver being much less affected. Is this just the way the album was cut, groove wear, or could it be my system? Nevertheless, this is an awesome collection of singles and with the exception of the few passages listed sounds phenomenal turned up on my system! Listened with an AT-VM95ML on an AT-LP120X.

Echoing what others have already said. Good, flat, quiet piece of vinyl. Really good mix. Sounds great!

The sound is just fine, but not very refined. There is some deficiency in the highs. The sound is not very dynamic. Very low background noise. Comes with colour insert.

One of the cleanest, and most quiet records I’ve bought in recent years. I got it from Best Buy of all places.

Mine has the Matrix numbers reversed...the "SH1" engraving is on side 2, and the "SH2" on side 1. It's not a mislabel because the track listings are correct on the labels, so they're on the right side. Database error or is something wonky here?

I've listened to this 2022 reissue side by side with my two 80's German pressings. My ears can hear night and day differences. The reissue is a bit thinner sounding, the original pressing stands out for a more balance sound and clarity overall.

Visually, one thing that I instantly noticed when changing records, "Bring On The Dancing Horses" on the reissue has a thinner groove length. This makes the dead wax part wider. I did not compare the actual track times though.

Anyway, the reissue is not that bad, if this is the only copy one can find at the moment. The jacket and inner sleeves are done very well.
