A phenomenal pressing for a phenomenal album. Perfect for the holiday season and hard not to put on before Christmas time even comes around…

Not very dynamic sounding to me, but striking color and presentation and quiet otherwise. Will be fun to spin during the holidays!

I had no idea this was reissued until right after the holiday season, so I just had to buy it as soon as I found out! I saw TSO live 4x growing up and they are SUCH a talented bunch-their studio albums exemplify that and then some. Both the cover, inners, and discs (inc. sound quality) are first rate! Buy with confidence! Now all we need is for The Lost Christmas Eve to be pressed on vinyl. B)

Noticed some criticism from people who bought the translucent red Lp but from the moment I first played my copy on black vinyl I actually remarked to people who own the CD just how much trouble they seemed to have gone to with this pressing.

There aren't actually any warps to speak of and the dynamic range is really only limited by your cartridge and the rest of the system you use, for me the bass is as deep as anything a record can produce and the highs are very high with the music not feeling as though its being held back and very much coming out into the room - also the vinyl sounded clean unlike many new records with no pops and crackling - There was really no disappointment from this pressing, at least not with my copy.

Purchased from Target. Pressing seems to suffer from a scratching distorted noise on both sides of both discs (not static electricity). Have cleaned the disc as well as the needle and the noise persists in the same places.

This is a great sounding pressing, but it suffers from what a lot of new pressings are becoming known for - warping. Brand new, right out of the sleeve and it has such a significant warp that I have to adjust my tone arm weight so that it doesn't skip. After the adjustment, it plays fine. But this is something that screams to the poor quality control out there right now.

This particular pressing, translucent red color variant, is not exclusive to Target. I purchased a copy at my local indie record store, Twist and Shout, in Denver, CO. Silver hype sticker is the same, however there is another sticker that says "Indie Exclusive".

Anybody else purchase this red color variant from your local record shops??

Would really love a vinyl reissue of this. This is one of the greatest Christmas/ Holiday albums ever recorded.
