Accept's fifth studio album, released in December 1983.

Please note that this album was not released in the U.S. and Canada until January 1984. Part of the reason for the delay was because of the fact Portrait Records had issued their previous album "Restless and Wild" in the U.S. several months before the release of "Balls to the Wall".

      Bob Ludwig just has the secret sauce. I picked this copy up not remembering I had a 1st UK pressing....this thing blows the UK out of the water...sounds so good.

        Compared to my first pressing, this reissue is really dull sounding. Squeezes soundstage. Udo is not as open as on the OG. Compressed like a digital CD mastering.

          It was the best sounding Metal album at its time, this copy sounds crystal clear and with the punch exactly as I remember it in the eighties….

            Like a MOV release - sounds great and looks great.
            I love that it has the insert with the lyrics and the ridiculous band photo.
            I wish they has the inserts for all their releases.
            Anyway: great and highly recommended!

              Это переиздание звучит хуже первого издания на RCA 1983 года! При прослушивании и сравнении двух вариантов это легко можно услышать. Динамический и частотный диапазон на переиздании немного урезан. Бумагу для постера-вкладки и лейбаков винила могли бы подобрать посолиднее. Не в восторге от данного переиздания. Рекомендую поискать германский первопресс и будет вам счастье.
              This reissue sounds worse than the first edition on RCA 1983! When listening and comparing the two options, it can be easily heard. The dynamic and frequency range on the reissue is slightly reduced. The paper for the poster-tabs and vinyl labels could have been chosen more solidly. I'm not thrilled with this reissue. I recommend looking for a German first press and you will be happy.

                Outstanding clean sound. Cover do not have a gatefold, but insert designed as gatefold (never saw design like this, looks funny). Overall: recommended edition.

                      this is a very powerful sounding edition of probably the most successful accept record ever made way back in 1983, this is on the music on vinyl label and was pressed on a beautiful silver, marbled colored lp, thick 180g lp to, nice shiny laminated sleeve & this comes with a great fold out insert, very nice european pressing of this 1983 classic!!!!

                        Super quality pressing, sound perfect 💯. Perfect memories of the dark days of sometimes wild adolescence😎. That's how all those vinyl LPs should sound in a nonsense weight of 180 gr. (180gr. - probably invented by a pervert who has no relation to music and consequently to vinyls) if you can't get the original pressing in good condition, go for 👊
