This issue is most likely from the very late 80's. I had a copy of Santana's "Abraxas" with the same type of barcode. I think they added the extra number and extra (smaller) barcode to help differentiate sales between the different formats (since all albums had the same catalogue number regardless of format).

Why is this master release not classified as a compilation?
My labels say made in Ireland, not sure if my copy is even listed.......referencing Un Poeta Un Artista (2×LP, Compilation) S 67239
I HAVE A COPY WITH COVER IN PINK COLOR AND NOT BLUE AS IN THIS PIC
Edited 7 years agoOk compilation though the mastering is super variable from song to song. They really didn't do a good job for the homogeneity of the album.
I got my copy in 1979. It is stamped in gold on the back cover "For Military Sale Only".
Edited 4 years agoWhy is this constantly being changed back to UK? This record was manufactured in Ireland, the same as any other LP being listed as Ireland on Discogs ? What's the point if we can't identify where a record came from ?
