This pressing is good. I was a little worried, because the 2014 versions were mediocre. I held off on buying Bread and Jam for Frances and their last album, The Three Calamities, because I was afraid of the quality. Looks like I'll be buying them now.

No warps, no surface noise, nothing.

I'm going to give a thorough review on this release.

Having been late to the party of obtaining a copy of "Serpentine Gallery", I managed to perform a vigorous hunt and managed to land the exact copy of it I wanted, on the "clear" vinyl and a Brand New, Sealed copy!

Here is what I have to say about it. I would rate it as 4 Stars, because the majority of colored or colorless vinyl, especially on the thick kind, tend to produce a lot of noise (hiss and hum) from the material used. There is a slight background surface noise from the material as the stylus tracks the grooves, and I suspect the same is likely true with the Lavender and Red Limited Editions. However, what makes up for it is thankfully it's not the worst I have dealt with compared to other pressings and the Dynamic Range of the pressing is very good, it was mastered very well to make it almost unnoticeable except in between tracks. The Bass and Treble expression is excellent. Otherwise, I would have been sorely disappointed.

My copy was not warped. Overall I am pleased with owning it and especially since this is a very rare and almost impossible album to find nowadays, but just keep in mind that it is a generally good idea to avoid most Vinyl Records that are made in any other color but Black. I have only a few in my collection which are clear, but this one is nowhere near as bad as some of my others.

These reissues suck, I would not spend money on one of these noisy pressings. I was hoping that Switchblade Symphony's later albums would also be issued on vinyl but I am skeptical they would even sound good.

any reviews of the sound quaility of this pressing. this could most definitely be digitally sourced.

this is perhaps one of the most representative electronic gothic acts of the 90´s.
a band of the new school of gothic that mix well crafted synthetizers creating really eerie, desolated and gloomy background giving strong emphasis to the female vocals articulated in the same way siouxie did in the 80's.
the big deal with this band its their original musical and lyrical compositions and excellent mix production.
                charmy record.
