This pressing sounds crisp and clean. No issues! Looks beautiful as well, esp on a black turntable, mat.referencing Pollen (LP, Album, Green Opaque) MD008LP
mine has major skips on side A, track one and two are unlistenable unfortunately. it’s a bit warped and skips endlessly on A1 and A2, really unfortunate. will get another pressing of this one to see if i just got unlucky. A3 sounds crazy compressed and shaky esp on the vocals. and A4 too... tried on three different record players. side B plays just fine, so no clue what is up here. no change after cleaning.referencing Pollen (LP, Album, Club Edition, Limited Edition, Numbered, Purple [Iridescent]) MD008LP
This album starts off a bit undynamic at first, however once Let's Make a Mistake Tonight started playing, the dynamics and instrumentation became MUCH better and fun to listen to! Clearly sounds digital as the "Lossless Lacquer" label on the hype sticker implies. The color of the vinyl is actually just the Clear w/ Gold Smoke pressing but in purple, as the empty inner grooves has the same iridescent effect as that particular pressing, so if you plan on saving money, stick to the gold pressing if you don't care for the purple color!
All in all, a decent and acceptable pressing!referencing Pollen (LP, Album, Green Opaque) MD008LP
I originally ordered the "Pollen color" edition from the band's website but found it had a lot of surface noise, and a particularly LOUD whoosh sound through the second half of A1. Since I like this album so much, I went to my local record store and picked up this version and I have to say...MILES better. Still some surface noise but really only between tracks and the "whoosh" is non-existent. Between the two, I think this is the version to own.- Beautiful pressing. Clear with no surface noise. Mine is a glittery opaque gold/dandelion color with flecks of shimmery streaks.

Another excellent Tennis album. A shame this pressing is a hot mess. Warped and loaded with objectionable levels of surface noise throughout. The mastering is decent, the overall sound is a bit compressed. I'm going to try another copy and will update this review with the results.- Very well recorded. Dynamics are great. Vocals are super clear and intimate. Nice separation. Plus some fantastic songs.
