- Buyers beware! At least 70% of sellers (maybe more) are selling the 2016 reissue here passing it as the harder to find 2002 first edition....make sure catalog # is LBJ-46 and not later reissue LBJ-236.
- In general sounds and looks really good, I love the quality of the pressing and material. Some crackle in some parts that I don't think should be there on my copy but possibly that could be removed with a good cleaning.

Mine sounds fantastic! Not sure if I just got lucky. Modern pressing tho, amirite??referencing Lifted Or The Story Is In The Soil, Keep Your Ear To The Ground (2×LP, Album, Reissue) DOC286LP
Side A had some pops during quieter parts, but Side B had a near constant pop/crackle in the background. I was even hearing them throughout the the louder parts of “Lover I Don’t Have to Love”.
This was after cleaning both sides twice. :(
I’m listing this immediately & just gonna order one of the Ludwig remasters that RTI pressed a few years back.
I have most of the remasters in my
collection already but never had anything this discouraging.
I just thought I’d see if these new Dead Oceans 2022 reissues were worth it, but I don’t think I’ll be taking any more chances.
The vinyl doesn’t have scuff marks or anything physically wrong with it, but the records are littered with that “gloss ghosting”. Idk what else to call it lol, it’s like permanent holographic brush strokes that you can only see held under the light. :( anybody know what I’m talking about? 😅- It's a good vinyl great music. Got this for lover I dont have to love but found my self enjoying the whole record guess its time to buy all the rest of their vinyl lol

A few pops in silent passages on LP1 even after a cleaning. A1 sets up the album for some nice dynamic contrast.- Sounds great, and like the other review says, my copy seems like it’s 180g. Some inner groove distortion on the quieter last tracks like “you will…” but outside of that, no complaints.
- So I have this one, and it plays really well.
The LPs always felt more sturdy to me than even 180gr ones. i just went on and weight both and they are both 200gr, which is quite unusual.
Anyone else can confirm they have such a pressing?
All runouts are same as noted here. referencing Lifted Or The Story Is In The Soil, Keep Your Ear To The Ground (2×LP, Album, Reissue, Remastered) LBJ-236
Is the strip on this one an obi strip or printed over the album art?
