Habu Valley is amazing and one of my favorite Thom Brennan songs. There is a mysticism underlying the beauty that is pure magic.
Also the title track is epic and takes up half the albums running time. It features a Tangerine Dream like drum programming bassline that is pure berlin school style. These are certainly not new age you would be hard pressed to find anything deeper made prior to this in 1987. This is truly a landmark sounding album that never comes close to being cheesy like so many 1980s ambient pieces can be. This is deepness gold.

Originally released as a cassette in 1987. This is as far removed from the instant thrill of some music as can be. I think this was Brennan's first long player and alongside Roach echoes Tesla and Edison for companion rivalry. I can smell the Los Angeles concrete being heated by the California sun on this one. That feeling of endless time at dusk hazy in shorts and T-shirt is captured. Music whose limits are infinite and limited at the endpoint - YOU!
