this is a nice boxset, and the music is absolutely great. However this is still a bit pricey for the content.
Very beautiful white / black marbled LP, a black b-side etched EP and the digipak CD, no posters, no exclusive cover art, not even numbered, all for about 100€ including shipping to France and taxes when bought from the official store, that is showing support to the artist..

In 1999, UK goth/doom metal legends released the controversial album, Host. The album was closer to 80s synth pop/dark wave electronic. Fast forward to 2023 and vocalist Nick Holmes and lead guitarist Greg Mackintosh have once again revisited the sound of 1999 and created a side project that will please devoted fans. The UK digipak version contains three bonus tracks, although the package misprint swaps the titles of the last two remixes. Excellent album!

Sounds pretty awesome! The final songs at the end of side A and B had some noise, otherwise flawless.

Nuclear Blast had a good quality control on this one. Flat vinyl, no surface noise, no clicks or pops. Great album and a nice sturdy box. The bonus black vinyl includes an excellent cover and 2 remixes (only available in this box and in the digipack CD). Bravo Greg and Nick!
PS. I would check the official Host store first to get it at a normal price before it is sold out and unreasonable prices show up!

I have received my copy of this. It was advertised as being Gold Marbled but mine is plain white with the odd black streak. Certainly no gold though. Have other folks seen a similar issue? The actual album itself is fantastic.
