Really good sounding pressing! One of my favorites in my collection. The poster is great, too! I wish more of my albums came with posters.

I’m pretty disappointed that one side of the record came with light scratches that are audible during quiet parts. Otherwise it sounds fantastic! A very well done reissue. Poor quality control at the pressing plant though. I hope you get a good one.

Disc 1 - great! Seems like I got lucky. Disc 2 - Unlistenably off-centre. One out of two ain't bad.

In all honesty I think the pressing is fine but man alive this vinyl release is awesome!, a whole extra piece of vinyl with some tracks I thought I would never be able to enjoy on vinyl. I for one are absolutely loving this re-release !

My favorite album of them. This pressing is sublime. Thankful for whoever introduced them to me waaaay back then. So so good.

Heartbreakingly, this is horrendously noisy - so much crackle (after a decent pre play clean) that it’s a major distraction from the music. Waited soooo long for this on vinyl that I’m well pee’d off. Have ordered a replacement so fingers crossed!!

As for this pressing not sounding great, I now have the new (deluxe) one to compare to directly. They sound basically identical, in volume, clarity, low end, everything. As noted elsewhere, packing 25 minutes per side is never going to get you the best sound. I would have honestly preferred a 3LP deluxe, making the album 2LP and putting the extras on 1LP. Maintaining the album on 1LP is a strange decision. It's fine, and I'm glad it's now out there for the fans, but it could be better.

"First 500 copies signed". I have a hard time taking this at face value. 13 years after release, 107 copies have been registered here, which is an unusually low proportion of copies for a rare highly sought after record. It seems unlikely more than 500 copies in *total* were pressed (a band associate could probably confirm this), never mind signed, as that would imply many more were unsigned. It seems extremely unlikely it had a 1000 or so pressing run, given how impossibly hard it has been to get this pressing for so long.

Very pleased with how this sounds and the quality of the package all round - looks like an exact replica of the original sleeves, booklet and poster from original source artwork. It's a quiet pressing but once you turn it up it's defined and spacious with lots of room for the bass and clear, realistic high frequencies that mean the vocals sound almost like they're in the room. I've not heard the CD or original LP but it's like playing the album for the first time compared with the streaming versions. Was never totally sold on this album before, and now I absolutely am.
