referencing In Your Eyes (12", 45 RPM, Maxi-Single, Specialty Pressing) 9 20535-0 A

The A side mix introduces verses that are not featured on the album version, augments the incredible Lanois-produced percussion and makes the bass more prominent in the mix.

On the Special Mix the verses are replaced with a vocal rearrangement and introduction of additional Wolof chants from Youssou N'Dour (maybe a full session of the stuff which closes out the album version). The programmed drums are more prominent and treated to echo effects with high hats that seem to drive the rhythm track like the start of Red Rain.
