Phenomenal-sounding Frank album, with a punchy mono-mix that renders every element included in the recordings to perfection.

One of Sinatra’s hodgepodge collections, a gathering of singles and material from miscellaneous sessions. It’s definitely listenable, with some strong entries (“Here’s To The Losers,” “The Look Of Love” (not the Bacharach classic but a Cahn/Van Heusen effort), “Available,” etc). That said, the record also covers the pleasantly forgettable (“Love Isn’t Just For The Young”), the pleasantly unsuccessful (“Then Suddenly Love”), and the annoying (“Pass Me By”). A minor album, but by no means bad.
