Notes

In 2012, the German label "Made in Germany" released a double CD with two versions each of both TONWELLE tracks. They mistakenly believed that the original release (meant to be played at 45 RPM) was wrong. On MiG's reissue, CD1 is 26% slower and CD2 is 26% lower in pitch than the originals. The original versions of the tracks are not included.
Klaus D Müller, the publisher of the titles confirmed that the original was meant to be played at 45 rpm, and urged them not to release the slowed-down and down-pitched versions of the tracks. But MiG released it anyway, some with a sticker covering up their mistake in the liner notes.

Judging from the label it also looks like this being a 45 RPM record as well!

On every issue of this record it ssyas that side A contains Schwung, 18:30. Side B should be Druck, 17:09. I own a copy of the original German issue (KS80.006), that I digitized today. But the track on side A is 17:09 long and the track on side B 18:30. I listened to a copy I have of a CD issue and also to the LP-rip that a friend made a few years ago and they're all the same: track 1 is named Schwung, but 17:09 long and track 2 named Druck, 18:30 long. Maybe a joke of Klaus? I'm not a big fan of Klaus Schulze, but I know lots of people are. Therefore I don not understand thisisn't mentioned anywhere.

to my taste Kraftwerk and those do not match the creativity of some Klaus Schulze early before 84 produktions........this one is a great- as some Schulze himself , Robert Schröder and more to dig on IC labels..seek the early stuff.

It is good to see others experimenting with the vinyl speed on the Schwing track it does actually work at 33rpm or 45rpm or something in between. Very C Santana esq guitar playing by K Wahnfried at 45rpm, said to be him of course. But of course on his next offering K Wahfriend had dropped his guitar to be keyboardist, so the mystery remains. However, Slow it down a peg and you will be fooled again. This experimental inventive side to German music started disappearing shortly after this sadly

Following Disclaimer posted on KS Website, consider this before you go for this edition:

In 2012, the German label "Made in Germany" released a double CD with two versions each of both Tonwelle tracks. They seem to believe that the original release with 45 RPM was wrong (!). At least their first promotion stated impressively and for some weeks: "on the original cover was wrongly given to play it in 45 RPM" & "the first editions on CD were in this 45 version, different as what the artist wanted" & "for the first time ever are now both versions available, the correct one and the involuntary wrong one." = ALL WRONG. Although I told them that the reason for their strange doing and the release itself is completely wrong, it doesn't hinder them to release this nonsense double CD anyway: one MiG version is circa 26% slower and the other version is circa 26% lower in pitch. The original version is not included (!) Besides, they sell this product now under "Klaus Schulze".

I do not know exactly in which speed track A "Schwung" must to be played. On the label is a small 45 but I normally play it in 33rpm. In 45 the vocals are in a good tune but the beat is too fast and a bit high. In 33 the beat is on a good tempo but the vocals are in a low tune. I personally play it in 33 and pitch it up on +4%. By the way it is an ingenious track in good wahnfried manners!
