Great Sound on this pressing. Really open not a lot of bass but with a bass boost, it fills up a room and becomes just right!

A nice album from a guy who hailed from just up the turnpike from my home. If you appreciate guys like Marshall Crenshaw you'll want to check out DTB...the mix is decent and the album itself is well mastered for the genre it represents...Power Pop with a Rockabilly chaser.

Mix of Anglophile British invasion power pop homages, jangly guitars, innovative harmonies, lovely melodies & catchy hooks with a hint of slap-back reverbed Sun-era rockabilly echo & some Alex Chilton (Big Star) madness & a pinch of Oklahoma desolation.

A magnificent powerpop album that rivals all others in the genre in the 70s. If you love big star and badfinger with a smattering of 50s sprinkled in the mix on side 2’s first two tracks then this is essential for you to pick up. This press and the pressings with the TML stamps are identical in sound to me as I own both.

My copy comes with 11" colour foldout Island Spring Catalogue '77.- a lovely artefact.
