referencing The New Hope (LP, Compilation) NHR-001
unfortunately, most of the copies ive seen or had/have of this(and thats quite a few) are damaged from the staples in the zine insert. if the staples didnt scuff or scratch the record when you took it out of the cover back then, you lucked out.
and if you bought a copy from Tom Dark's still sealed OG oldstock copies in the last 20 or so years, the records have tiny dents/warps from where the staples got smashed into them in storage and always skip/jump on those. at least the 3 different copies ive gotten are all like that.
and thats a shame. the Smog Veil reissue sounds great and has an extra LP of outtakes from every band, but this Original pressing has signifcantly more low-end depth and a huge amount of midrange punch that you aint gonna hear anywhere else.
