Nilsson* – Aerial Ballet

Absolutely great! Can't stop listening to this one. RS mastering moves in some futuristic direction how classic records should sounds.

“One” just made it towards the top of my demo track list. It sounds huge, dynamic and the vocals presentation is phenomenal!

Has anybody compared this to an original mono pressing? Also, is stereo or mono the way to go on this album?

The music is absolutely beautiful on this record. I had never listened to this before so I pre-ordered the 3 Nilsson titles from VMP. Really looking forward to hearing the other two titles now.

“Daddy’s Song” was only included on early pressings, most vintage copies don’t have it. The Monkees recorded a version of the song and paid for exclusive rights, so it was removed from Aerial Ballet.
The Mono Master that RKS used for VMP’s Aerial Ballet has to be from after its removal. The Sundazed pressings (black and gold, which I own) have it, but they’re not confirmed analog and are possibly digital.
That aside, all of these VMP Nilsson pressings have been phenomenal so far. Beautiful mastering and pressing with the best presentation to date. Can’t wait for the next three!

Outstanding Mono release. My pressing is not dead flat but did not affect playback. I’m never to fussed about coloured vinyl but this is matched well with the hair colour on the cover. Now for the music - So clear with amazing depth with surprising width and separation. If I played this for someone and asked if they thought if it was stereo or mono I’d imagine they would guess stereo. Cart-Ortofon 2M MM Mono.

Wasn’t expecting this one to sound as good as it does. Highly recommended.

Beautiful master and press, flat and clean, nice jacket with A+ print. Mono masterpiece. SIX stars.

Can someone tell me if this has Daddy’s Song or not… track-listing here on discogs says it’s on there but the sheet in the picture says it’s not.
