Wider repress! Come on, EMI or Capital, this and the “The Late Great” are almost expensive as the original presses!- My copy is quiet and sounds fantastic. So happy I went back to the shop to snatch this up. It was pricey but I don't regret a single dollar.

Very nice pressing for colored vinyl (and to those of you who say colored vinyl does not affect sound quality, I beg to differ. But that's another conversation). Anyway, sound is slightly lower mid and bass heavy, but overall that can be compensated with a little EQ. After all, that's why manufacturers have tone controls on receivers and preamps. So you can adjust to compensate for differences if needed. Not all records are going to perform the same if you leave your EQ settings exactly the same all the time.
The record comes in a nice heavy board package, however, it is too tight to slide the record in and out without damaging the inner sleeve. This one comes with a poly inside, paper outside, and I suggest buying PYP or any other inner sleeve that has the poly on both inside and outside. This makes sliding the record in and out a breeze.- worth noting that while both the Research Craft and Terre Haute share the same runouts, they are not from the same cut.
when comparing the etched handwriting in the runouts of both discs you'll see a difference in handwriting, so far no comment on which one sounds better as I havent got around to comparing copies. - worth noting that while both the Research Craft and Terre Haute share the same runouts, they are not from the same cut.

They also sound markedly different from each other. This shows they are physically different lathe cuts, and not one lathe cut, with different stampers sent to different plants.
- Adding here: A copy of this pressing (no '4' on rear cover, deadwax 44 PYS (PSY crossed) 5700) also included a two page leaflet printout chart and lyrics of "Two Lives To Fly" (sic) by Valle Music Papers, Ventura Blvd, Hollywood, CA. Since this is unreported so far, this may be a later addition. Wish I could include a picture. Very interesting.
