Record sounds overall good, few pops and clicks but very listenable. Purchased for £8.referencing A Hard Road (LP, Album, Reissue, 180 Grams) none
So 2805196 is correct about the "hidden" reissue this is, since it's literally a repolished pair of laquers for a different UPC, but quite honestly for me, quiet, well made issue for the stereo master. The stiff white paper sleeve is not good for the record and should be replaced.referencing A Hard Road (Cassette, Album, Reissue) SKC 4853
This release on UK Decca cassette sounds great. Much better than the cd versions.referencing A Hard Road (LP, Album, Reissue, 180 Grams) none
I am very confused. I bought from my shop this regular reissue that comes in a regular sleeve with no inserts and no booklet, but has Side A runout: LPBI Bluesbreakers A SST MW MPO and Side B runout: LPBI Bluesbreakers B SST MW MPO, like release of the collection "Blues in Vinile", published by De Agostini.
Anyway the vinyl is not very quiet but the sound quality is decent, considering that it is a 57 year old recording!referencing A Hard Road (LP, Album, Mono) LL 3502
Rest In Peace, John Mayall, July 23, 2024.
"I'm trying to tell you people that the blues have hit me in my life. You know I was born for trouble and it's a hard road 'till I die."referencing A Hard Road (LP, Album, Stereo) SKL 4853
My pressing sounds fantastic. 10/10, absolutely nothing I would change.- Great sounding mono-reissue. Dead quiet, very dynamic with deep soft bass. Compared to the original 1st press and like this even better. If you love Peter Green`s work and love blues - get this one 100%
- Okay... It is cool maybe to have in a collection because it literarily includes all tracks P.Green did with the bluesbreakers.
But, if coming to the sound quality, it is a crap. I have compared it to the original press and late original mono reissue that I ended up with getting to my collection. Vinyl lovers press sounds 25% quieter with muddy bass and not clear highs also is having background noise. Shitty sounding press as all of the Vinyl lovers “reissues”. I got mine for like $7 mint and that`s why I got it. You have to manipulate with EQ to get it a bit better and acceptable to listen to. referencing A Hard Road (LP, Album, Repress, Mono) LK 4853
My copy is exactly the same as this but not a flip back sleeve.- Edited 2 years ago

You enjoyed Beano? Check! Step aside, EC and let PG show his stuff. This is a solid Bluesbreaker's record featuring Peter Greene throughout. Although most of the tunes were written by Mayall, there's not a sameness at all. There's also a great Freddie King cover, "The Stumble". "Supernatural" is wickedly cool.
Nice sounding pressing.
Four stars. Recommended.
