      This sounds excellent. Its nice to have this album without hiss, clicks, and static which is pretty hard to avoid when you're playing a record from 1968. Very happy to have this repressing.

          Early Randy Newman albums haven’t sounded this good in a while, and this release, alone with many other Newman albums haven’t been reissued in decades, so having these releases is quite a treat. The sound is wide, dynamic, and so well pressed. Newman’s piano and voice are front and center, but the lush orchestrations fill the sound stage nicely. Great packaging with tip-on jacket and poly sleeve—what more is needed? Fans of Randy Newman need all these excellent Nonesuch reissues!
