This absolutely crushes the previous pressing by Wargod. Much more powerful sound.- Edited 4 months ago

Compared to the best digital version available, this sounds as good if not slightly better. referencing Wither Blister Burn + Peel (LP, Album, Limited Edition, Reissue, Remastered, Yellow Smoke) WG010

Anyone own one they'd be willing to part with? Please list it. Can't find this anywhere.- Edited 6 years agoReceived mine yesterday (11/05/18), WGC preorder. Red smoke (red with black swirls/streaks), thick so maybe 180g. Same jacket art as on the CD, with b/w insert art the same as the booklet, band pic on one side, lyrics on the other, back cover art is cropped. Slightly warped but not terrible, quiet pressing with only slight noise on the runoff inner groove near the labels. Very centered pressing, good dynamics, but not quite like Darkest Days. All in all a satisfying issue from WGC, you can't go wrong with this one!
- Edited 19 years agoI came across this album while MTV was still confused as to what the industrial rock craze was with the teenagers of the time. MTV was showing videos for Shame and What Do I Have To Do (one of the first emo tracks...it's gotta be), and I, being a huge fan of KMFDM, Nine Inch Nails, Ministry-esque bands at the time) grabbed this album and loved it. It had just enough synth sounds and creepy moods throuoghout the disc not to love it. It got a little much from Christopher Hall's vocals, which wanted to cross the line into goth territory, but still had a rocking edge to it. The instrument on the album sound meticulously mixed and the producer did a great job. But as far as this album's legendary status, I could only rate it a 3 out of 5 because it came at a trendy time when bands like Gravity Kills were riding on Prodigy's success and other TVT records' artists. Not a classic, but a great listen if you're interested in any of the aforementioned groups.
