Features either a different mix or demo version of "Flowers by the Door".

This common, nondescript compilation is a fine review of the interesting Enigma label's wide range of artists. I went to it initially because of the unreleased version of a classic TSOL song, "Flowers By The Door," but perhaps more notable is the unreleased track by SSQ that's tucked away at the end of the second plate. SSQ, the criminally-long-overlooked-until-recently California synth-pop outfit, released very little material overall (one album and a few singles) so fans will do well to dig up this release. Lots of edgy punk, new wave, and goth/death-rock material to boot make this a very good sampler of 80s alternative. Cop it!
