Surprisingly awesome pressing. Very clear, tight bass, and just some slight sibilance.

This sounds amazing,clean and remastered. Why can’t Fear of a black planet get the same love?

This album comes across angry, and they don't take long getting things off their chest. The opening track says it all 'Lost At Birth' is militant and severe and sets the mood for the whole album. As hip-hop albums go this is very middle of the road, with not too many exciting things going on, but it is a solid performance and it has not just been flung together in five minutes. The album also sounds quite political, and they really punch their views across. Anyway this is a well produced album and a lot of heart has been put into it, it's a shame modern rap is not as intelligent, and the album needs to be bought if your a Hip-Hop fan.

Stand Out Tracks: Can't Truss It, By The Time I Get To Arizona & Shut Em Down

I don't think the Bomb Squad produced this record. Gary G-Wiz handled the beats. Other than Chuck D, the rest of the Bomb Squad do not even have a writing credit (apart from Bring the Noize). I would disagree that this is the absolute peak of the Bomb Squad.

I really like that album with massive hits like 'Can't truss it', 'Bring the Noise'.'Shut em down' and 'By the time I get to Arizona' Really well made with gatefold and printed sleeves. Dope!

As with all 90s samplers, it's crucial to remember the fidelity is never going to be like it is today, but this peak time album delivers. It's a great 2x12 pressing, quiet and click free. Deep kicks, snappy beats, punchy vocals and Terminator X spinning around your room from speaker to speaker. It's a classic record, still fresh after 26 years. I'm very pleased I bought it. Wish Fear of a Black Planet was 2x12... #quiet

Chuck D, Flava Flav, Terminator X and the brothers in full effect on this album. Hard hitting, bass-heavy and anarchic beats to riot to. Favourites include "Can't Truss It," "1 Million Bottlebags," and Flav's solo rhyme on "More News At 11." Killer shit from the crew.
