Reasonable album but not the best in their repertoire. Terrible singing on side Breferencing Terra Firma (LP, Album) SUB 33009-12
Test Dept. rips it up as gently as possible with this 'sensitive-industrial' record. A voice full of dysphoria and forlornness, Catherine Jauniaux's vocals have never sounded better! Expressive and required listening for anyone who has felt they lost a person, place or time and cannot fully sense the depths of how much they want them back.- Edited 9 years ago

Excellent album . Beautiful music!
The music shows the soft musical side of the band by use of
Pipes ,Cello ,Percussion, Accordion, Piano and Electronic effects,
the singing expresses sadness and beauty, there is amazing singing performance by Catherine Jauniaux and Paul Jones .
My favorite track is the song Dark Eyes, there is a lot of sadness in the song , the Heartbreaking singing and the stunning music create mesmerizing beauty .
The album and especially Dark Eyes shows how talented Test Dept were
and how many styles of music and expression they had.
