Released as a double album on vinyl and as a single CD.

Just picked up a copy today. I think it sounds great. I’ve been happy with all of the Stones half masters done by Miles. I know others don’t like them but they sound good on my system (which is pretty modest) and to my ears. But I do agree with the others I wish it was a gatefold like some of the others that came out. But overall I’m glad to have added this to my collection.

It is very good. Clean discs. Punchy sound. Sound awesome when cranked up. I am glad I bought this. Seems this pressing is missing the "mpo" stamp which is fine. Might be early test pressings. There doesnt seem to be a ton of this runout.

Sounds ok, kinda lifeless. It also lacks clarity compared to digital version. The top end sounds shrill, borderline distorted (might come from the pressing). No gatefold and stupid inner sleeves don’t make it better.

Excellent reissue. A significant improvement over my original cd from 1997 (especially, regarding low frequencies). Good punch and dynamic sound. Just what I was looking for.

ooh boy, what can I say about this Italian reissue? ...the packaging and inner sleeves are exactly like the 2020 Half Speed Mastering reissue, so I'm not complaining about it (Since the original 1997 release is exactly like that), about the vinyl records, they're perfectly flat, the thickness of the deadwax on the 4 sides of the 2 discs are the same width as in the 2020 reissue (they are not the same stamping matrix)..... now, the sound quality I must say that I agree with lop what other comments say in the Halfspeed Mastering reissue link, I'm not satisfied with the remaster, I feel that it lacks more VOLUME on the A1 side, the sound is clear, but I feel that it lacks "that sound punch" on the instruments. Summary: This album needs a sound upgrade and of course be reissued on vinyl. For the moment (everyone who likes this album) we will have to make do with these reissues.

I bought mine from my local shop. Perfect flat wax and it sounds awesome. It's also the only US vinyl release so unless you want to pay about 3-5x more for an OG this is just fine IMO.

I finally got my copy. A little disappointed. First of all it’s a shame that it’s not gatefold. Two separated discs squeezed in poor quality cover. Both discs are significantly wrapped. Song A4 is a little bit distorted. On the first disc I found a piece of production material, it was in the hole, so I had to pierce it like a hymen when I put it on the turntable. I knew it was a bad sign already. And the sound quality. I have mixed feelings.. It has more mids so vocal and guitars seem to be closer, but it seems a little too muddy. I was comparing it to Apple Music and unfortunately streaming seems to be more detailed. I don’t even know why I rated this so high. Probably because it’s my the most important album of all time..
