Notes
The single came in three official formats - 12", Standard 7" and 7" Picture Disc
The 12" contained a long remix of the title track and what was described as the (Long Version) of the B-Side Lord John White & The Bottleneck Train
The standard 7" contained a shorter single edit (not the album version) of the title track and the same long version of the B-Side (even though it was not listed as the long version)
The Picture Disc 7" & the Jukebox 7" contain the same shorter single edit of the title track iand are the only versions of the release that contains the short version of the B-Side.
Although Edwyn Collins is not listed as a songwriter on the B-Side - the track actually contains the vocal track from the A-Side reversed and played over a largely instrumental song written by the other members of the band, while Zeke Manyika narrates a story about a train journey through Southern Rhodesia.
Both the 12" and the standard 7" were available with a free print of a band member. The prints were assigned randomly from the 4 different ones available. Each of the 4 prints featured a different band member and the prints depicted stills of the member from the Rip It Up video
The prints in the 7" singles were 6"x6" sized and the The prints in the 12" singles were 10"x10" sized
