On this reissue, Robert Calvert is not listed as a musican, just as a composer. On the earlier Akarma release he is listed as playing saxophone, wich he surely did.

That made me want to hear this!
And now that I have heard it - Why did it take 50+ years to reach my eardrums?? Incredible.
Oh, and in my opinion the vocals are great!

Love this record. So happy to have it on Vertigo vinyl.

An incredibly resilient pressing, as all swirl vertigos go. Sounds gorgeous: clear, loud, in your face, as if you’re in the studio with the band.

Whoever had the courage to tell the lady, that she can sing... puhhhhhhhhhh!

I've heard the Akarma CD, and it seems to be sourced from vinyl. Are there any digital versions of this album taken from tape?

Сравнил звучание английского первопресса и новодела. Главное - перепутаны стереоканалы с оригиналом, то что должно звучать в правом канале - звучит в левом, и наоборот. Басы и низкие частоты не такие глубокие, зато высокие немного задраны, отчего вокал кажется более чётким. В целом - отдаёт прилизанной цифрой. Но слушать в принципе можно.

My original english Uk Vertigo lp is just perfect in all meanings, both in audio and condition. And of course as music. High level.

Great packaging, poor audio. Lifeless and murky. I compared it to my Canadian Vertigo original. Disappointing.
