I am very much into "let people enjoy things" but I will make an exception with Locomotion. I hate this song. I hate the album where it is. And I hate that OMD always play this incredibly bland neverending minutes live instead of defending their really good later albums.

Doesn't sound that good compared to most other 12 inch extended singles, and honestly I think this is due to it being your standard 33 1/3rd format instead of the far superior 45rpm variants you'll find. Which is a shame because all other 45rpm 12 inch extended singles of this era were extremely high quality.

First track on side B is one of their best songs from this era though, kinda re-hashed version of 'Love and Violence' on Junk Culture, I wouldn't be surprised if it were the original version.

A hidden gem on the b- side!!!!! “Her body in my soul”. And almost nobody knows it. Me too. After some 36 years. I heard for the very first time. Ahem.....Reminds much more to their early years. Pretty much “aggressive “ when thinking of omd. Totally recommend, but just for this tune. You have to think about the influence of Kraftwerk by them. It’s the time Around electric cafe by Kraftwerk

Early glossy sleeves with misspellings contain scratch card competition on back - train symbol reveal wins. Mine shows a ship symbol.

"If I sit down and listen to the radio these are words that I've haven't heard before" Uptempo OMD at their Synth best!
