Kev Bird & The Wax Doctor.... That acid tb303 sample is very clever!!! The way they both chopped this up is some serious production...... And the rest! https://www.discogs.com/Farley-Funkin-Keith-No-Vocals-Necessary/master/40305- Dark Matter 93 may have been the best, most played underground anthem of the year. It was everywhere in the the south of England..like a call to arms for the jungle techno massive..Big big tune....just trukinmassive!!

Basement was such an integral label during this transitional period. Kev Bird's superior update of the classic 'Dark Matter' is the perfect example of Basement's productions at the time - the pulsating technoid rhythm, the slithering breaks, the catchy b-line interwoven with a stabby hardcore melody and a refreshing but simple breakdown. Top this off with a nice little acidic 303 line and you have one of the most memorable and timeless '93 darkside releases. Essential.
