Believe this got a recent repress, as found a new copy in Rough Trade east in London recently. Couldn't believe it when I saw it, as had been after it for many years. Very happy with the pressing.referencing Eureka (CD, Album) dc162cd
still cannot believe I first came across this as a used CD in a record shop. was so confused/disturbed by the cover I took a picture and listened when I got home. I immediately went back the next day to buy it. now this record and all of jim o'rourke's work has come to be some of my absolute favorite music.
PS was there not a more recent repress of this and Insignificance? I have the original CD but I have what I believe to be more recent vinyl pressings of both, but they don't seem to be on discogs.referencing Eureka (LP, Album) dc162
Given that Jim seems profoundly committed to keeping his biggest records off streaming platforms, I sure am happy he (or Drag City) decided to have (most of) his catalog pressed at RTI. I own Eureka, Insignificance, and Bad Timing, and they all are absolutely immaculate: dynamic, punchy and dead-silent.
Don't pay the greedy flippers but definitely sign up for drag city's email list or something because these are gems.referencing Eureka (LP, Album) dc162
Excellent album, my favorite from Jim. My pressing has some noisy section, not sure if that’s just my copy.
