Toto – Toto

Just another phenomenal sounding Carrollton cut, this time by Mary K. Curothers. Has that typical "cut to be played loud" sound of Carrollton Chet Bennett masters, and better sound quality than my original TML pressing, like an earlier generation tape was used.

Found 2 of them in France (Fnac) recently and I bought one, pretty solid pressing
Also comes with a red sticker saying

Very easy to be a hater with Toto. What can't be denied is that they are immaculate musicians and that they are immaculately produced. They made the mistake of emerging during the heyday of punk and new wave. They made the mistake of not being cynical and perverse like their fellow studio cretins Steely Dan😎

Great sounding pressing, as you’d expect from a TML stamper. Indistinguishable sonically from a TML first pressing.

I liked the sound of this pressing. In addition, there is practically no vinyl noise.

This version sounds like arse. No dynamics at all. Goodwill material.

Another winner from Kevin Gray. This release is not quite as good as the Friday Music of Toto IV, but that can probably be put down to improved production techniques between 1978 & 1982. Gstefold artwork looks great, and the pressing from RTI is flat & clean.

flat, lifeless and a waste of yen. avoid this press. not even worth the few quatloos I paid for it.

Great pressing, great sound. Very quiet, excellent span of sound. I'm very satisfied knowing it's Columbia product. I recommend definitely !

The record sounds clear but a little flat. I missing some bass and punch. A/B Test compared to Spotify, this record has lost.
