This is a solid intelligent drum and bass track, but I'm giving it a 3 out of 5 mainly because, as others have mentioned, concepts 1-2 are too similar to enjoy listening to consecutively. Aside from that, it's pretty decent.referencing A Euphonius Perspective (12", 33 ⅓ RPM) MMOODS 5
Remember Horn Fusion getting a lot of play back then from Kemistry and Storm, great track- Note to Basement Phil - perhaps you can validate this info if you ever see this? its always nice to get the artists input and the story behind the tracks - big respect to you!

i love how 90s dnb is cheap (for the most part) compared to recent releases that use dnb elements and become expensive the week after their release- Edited one year ago

Horn Fusion [Concept 1 and 2] – Pretty much the same tunes with slightly varied breaks.
Ron and Phil Wells from Basement Records, under one of their many guises, really got it together on this track. A haunting, jazzy roller with a rare-groove element. Aside from being a great standalone track, it provides the perfect crossover piece during a set to go from mellow to dark or vice-versa. Eerie brass stabs underpinned by sweeping chords massage the relentless beats into submission at the ‘drop-out’, with the aid of some precisely executed drum rolls. The deep sub bass rumbles away like a beast at the back of it’s lair.
