I compared the 24 bit / 96 kHz FLAC version with the original12” vinyl , the 1992 and 2017 reissue CD version and even with the vinyl reissues. The FLAC version comes closest to the original sound of the original 12 inches. In fact the remastered FLAC version sounds even better. More depth and better stereo imaging. When you’re into vinyl I recommend the original 12 inches. The vinyl reissue doesn’t sound good in my opinion. It lacks finesse.

Does anyone else have issues with side D of Some Girls Wander By Mistake? The entire thing has strong surface noise throughout. Disappointing.

The sound quality is quite good, but the surface noise level in quiet parts of Some Girls is bit too high as for the new record. Maybe this is due to generally low volume of Some Girls. I have original pressings of Alice, Reptile House and Temple of Love EP's and they are all quiet in quiet parts! - why this compilation can't be?
Two 45's sound really nice and have good, high volume.

Does "Lead Vocals – Andrew Eldritch" need to be listed on every track?

Is there really a download code with this? So many people say they didn't get one.

Another fantastic box set. Great quality, flawless pressings, Under the Gun EP even includes the poster. Volume on Some Girls a bit low compared to previous remastered box sets.

Nice compilation of Early Sisters stuff. As DBMTB states, quality ain't as good as orignal EP's but good to have Home Of The Hitmen, etc which is a very expensive single now and hard to find in good condition.

Nice to have, not nice to listen to. Sound quality is really poor compared to the original EP pressings.
