Notes
The Seventh One is the seventh studio album by the American rock band Toto, recorded 1987-1988 and released in 1988, and became the best-received Toto album since Toto - Toto IV. The title track, "The Seventh One", is featured only on the Japanese version of the album and on the B-side of the single Pamela. It was also released on some compilations on a later date. It would be their second and last studio album with lead vocalist Joseph Williams until Toto XIV (2015).

- I bought this repress in a thrift store for €0,50. De disc is in absolute mint condition, but it skips like hell, so it must be a bad pressing.
- Great remaster with more details and bass than on the original LP. Nice open sound. But unfortunately a very bad pressing. Very noisy even after wet cleaning. I have already exchanged the LP twice. Still hoping to find a good one.

this is the best version of this album and i sold it here and stay with rock candy version.
stupid...and it had the album title music only in japan version.
the sound is not smooth and low like RC but more open and you hear the instruments better.referencing The Seventh One (LP, Album) FC 40873
One of my favorite records. To me, the songs are every bit as good as IV (Pamela is easily my favorite Toto song) and it’s even more spectacular sonically!! Massive, layered, defined, detailed soundstage that’s as immersive as almost anything I’ve heard through my system. My copy is beautifully pressed: flat, centered and nearly silent. Can’t recommend this record more highly!!!- Finally a replacement for my old record… there are details here I have never heard before! 😅
Volume is low, but the old ones are like that as well.
Sounds great! 😍 referencing The Seventh One (LP, Album) FC 40873

32DP is the definitve cd version of this underated classic- Really nice sounding pressing! Only a bit low in volume but that was also the 'problem' with the original releases. And the sleeve looks more blue-ish than purple. All in all a safe buy for every Toto fan.

As I bought each Toto album upon its release, I recall that the previous Fahrenheit album had a greater impact upon me than The Seventh One. Maybe it is because Fahrenheit was Joseph Williams’ debut. However, The Seventh One is a more dynamic album than its predecessor. It’s just a shame that we had to wait over 25 years to get Joseph back on the mic!- Edited 5 years agoUnderrated album from turbulent period of the band with few strong songs showing great musicianship and arrangements - Mushanga, Home of the Brave, A Thousand Years. Comparing to original CD and vinyl, MOV reissue is down in volume, but the silent pressing allows to listen more loudly. Even is digital sourced the sound has relative analog feeling. Perfect textured hights and partly "cloudy" bass spectrum ( DMM effect ). Inner sleeve and cover is thin but fine coloured and representative. Recommend.
