James Blake – James Blake

It’s not the best pressing in my opinion, sadly like most of his full lengths - like others have reported, some surface noise on this one. It’s not near silent, which this record deserves. Improved after cleaning and removing static. But still not ideal.

If anyone has a good copy of this in the US- the original, not the reissue -please message me. Thanks.

Soooo much surface noise and many many pops and clicks. Skips a lot too which is a shame, even after several wet cleans. Ruined an otherwise fabulous album. I had to return mine :(

I think this was just repressed but it's still not listed on discogs. I just bough a copy off amazon really cheap, anybody knows?

I bought this new and the inner sleeves are torn apart. There is also a lot of cardboard and other crap on the vinyl. A lot of crack and pops, like it was a 50 year old record found in the attic! Im so tired of paying for shit like this!

Wow, what an incredible vinyl. so well pressed - i knew it would be. James Blake is so f••••ing classic. I have a question: does anyone else have the Matt @ AIR signature on lp.1 side a and lp.2 side a. The signature is cut into the vinyl. It is a unique signature on each record. I've never seen this before and can't find anything about it on google.

The UK pressing sounds much, much better. This one sounds digitally dead.

Watch out for the newest batch of these. Pressed by United, and they are really noisy and distorted.
