Almost pointless reissue. The possibilities were there, but no one bothered... It sounds great & the retro Parlophone labels are an interesting touch, but what about RED vinyl & using the artwork from the rare Swedish pressing??? THAT would be really nice!!! ..........& why not a BOX SET??? There's plenty of demos which are only available on CD, & likely there are more we don't know about??? Then there's the overlooked but AMAZING one Peel Session, which blows the shit out of the released versions... Come on EMI, please fix it for us. RICH KIDS were such a great band, but usually overlooked as just a band in between much 'bigger' groups...

Pristine vinyl with no snaps, crackles or pops. "Newly supervised under the supervision of the band" it may be, but when the original production was as bad as it was for this album (muddy and flat) that's not going to make much of a difference. Nice quiet German repress for RSD. Still a muddy affair from Mick Ronson. A/B’d with my Cherry Red CD from 1999 and they are sonically the same. A solid repress.- The 'cover opened on three sides' is actually a Proof Sleeve
Ive just realised my copy is autographed on the back and has a booklet inside . Bought it in Oxfam many years ago lol- this is a really nice japan copy of this 1978 classic or semi classic, this comes with a laminated sleeve and an obi strip and a standard japan insert w/ lyrics in english and an essay on the rich kids in japanese and how the band was formed. great record.
- I have a Swedish pressing of this with a totally different cover pic with band posing on a castle or something.
- Got this CD from a small japanese online store. Mine is the super-rare promo version.
