Looks like a death metal cover! But 4 discs of awesome 90s chillout/ambient techno!!!- Probably the best ambient comp of the era, and I haven't heard one better in the 27 years since. A big step forward from the first one, and the material is amazing. Cover is very weird though.
- Bedouin Ascent's "Ancient Ocean" is, from my limited research, the only instance of this version.
Possible winner for weirdest/most bizarre/worst/most confusing cover award.- Edited 19 years agoThis was the first Rising High record I ever bought when it came out.
I don't think I met anyone who didn't think that "Ancient Ocean" was the prettiest track on the album but basicaly everyone of the artists received my deepest recognition by getting as much RHR vinyls I could get my hands on.
A gem in the history of ambient music ...compilations.
