Right after this came out, burned into my brain forever. Adam X playing Quad-Fonik and Bande Magnetique back to back opening his set as daylight was just beginning to break with hundreds of us locked in on it outside on the loading docks and yard of a warehouse in Queens or Brooklyn (can't remember exactly). I remember the air was still and the whole of what I was seeing and hearing was completely enveloped by these two tracks. Absolutely sick.

'Quad Fonik' sounds like something Jeff Mills would play. Expectation No 3 is the track for me. Bringing the deepness.

This is (quad-fonik) one of the best club techno tracks ever, sneaky off beat but dj friendly intro into a metallic drum hypno jack onslaught. The B side has a subtle bass driven acid chugger in bande magnetique and Expectation 3 is a usable minimal trancer.
