Huh. I’m sure I saw this sleeve in 1995 sold when they warmed up for Seigmen in 1995, but it’s nowhere here on discogs, this 2002 release is the only one with it. Very mysterious.

The dudes at Candlelight remastered the tracks so loud they destroyed the album, no dynamics, just loudness for loudness' sake. Just stick to the Peaceville remaster or the original 1995 release if you want to own a valuable underrated gem.

One thing I like about Peaceville reissues is that they largely restore the original artwork, since Candlelight mostly replaces them with new ones, which are frankly not good. Sounds great too btw

big improvement from debut work... successful artistic material👍 a fragment of 90's black metal history already.

Perfectionists... The most amazing (time-tested) album in the metal genre.

Fleurety has been getting on the tits of the Underground metal scene since day one. They were one of the original avantgarde metal bands in underground metal scene. Along with fellow Norwegians Ved buens ende and Arcturus, and Ulver they gave us this album in what was a scene full of satanists, odhinists playing very loud thrashing mega fast metal.

Unlike Arcturus who used alot of keyboards, sound effects and strange guitar sounds to create an avantgarde sound, Fleurety, like Ved buens ende used a more minimalistic, genre crossing approach, hence making them very unpopular with underground scene at the time.

Min Tid skall Komme is still a black metal album by root. They use the usual dry guitaring sound and occasion midpaced blast beat, and aggressive vocal delivery, but thrown into the mix they is alot of calm almost psychodelic moments.

The album begins with Fragementer... which starts with an acoustic guitar, drums and bass guitar played in a very lounge music way. This style of psychodelic lounge rock is used in and out of of the whole album, and then to throw people of the black metal track totaly they were aided by a Norwegian pop singer 'Marian Aas Hansen'.

What also made this different from the rest of the Norwegian scene was the use of bass guitar. Like Ved Buens Ende, it is used to good effect, and actually helped alot when creating some groove to the tracks, and the drums.....they have a nice clean sound almost like you're in the studio with them. You can hear the reverb on the tom drums it's that fresh. The keyboards were used to a minimul making the actual instruments do the work to create an odd sound .
What was nice about this album was every track was different. For example out of 5 tracks, one was an instrumental metal track, and the last one was almost entirely acoustic and drum. Each track had plenty of tempo change, toe tapping rhythems, but with Black metal aggression to please the metal fans. And it doesn't feel a long album either.
