If anything this is the apex IMHO of Tims releases as it really hits the ball out of the proverbial musical park both in composition and mood. Story is a currator of ambient chamber mixing electronics and acoustic instruments with such restraint a saint would have issues with. Here he selflessly intertwines subtle synthesizer atmosphere with chamber strings and piano. The music is anything but "happy" major key musing but deep, resonating minor keyed tone poems infused with emotional and melodic intent. Its haunting and beautiful and a timeless masterpiece in his catalog. All his earlier releases esp Glass Green and Wheat and Rust are all recommended as well!
