Notes
The Old & The New was originally released on Factory in January 1986 as LP + 7" with cat# Fact 135, and in February 1986 on cassette in a navy blue box with cat# Fact 135c. The 7" cover is attached to the LP front cover.
The LP features tracks from Fac 22 (Flight, Blown Away, And Then Again), Fact 35 (The Fox), Facus 4 (Do The Du), Fac 112 (Life's A Scream, There's Only This), Fac 128 (Wild Party, Sounds Like Something Dirty).
The 7" features tracks from Fac 5 (Thin Boys) and Fac BN 1-004 (Shack Up).
Also released as LP + 7" in Belgium (Benelux), Canada, France and Spain, and as imports in the US, Italy and Germany/Austria/Switzerland.
In Japan released in April 1986 as LP only.
In Australia released in April 1987 only as double pack with LP Fact 166 (Force).
On CD released in 1989 in Japan only.
Reissued on CD by Creation Records in 1994.
