- Edited 9 months agoBeing from France, I bought this CD single back in the day thinking it was released this way worldwide. "Seriously" being the third single off Behaviour was only logical. Then I listened to what I thought was only a b-side: "Where the streets..." and told myself what a good song it was. Too good to put as a b-side on any record ! Especially after a not so good remix of "Seriously?".
Little did I know that this was the side A for the rest of the world, apart from USA. But it made perfect sense. "Where the streets..." has more potential as a single than "Seriously", even if I'm very fond of the latter. referencing How Can You Expect To Be Taken Seriously? (Morales Mix) (12", 33 ⅓ RPM, Promo) SPRO 4727
In my experience, a lot of pressings of this promo 12" have issues, crackle and just an uneven sound, it is not visibly obvious, may even look mint, but sounds like a dirty record. After about 3 copies, I did find one that sounded good.- A quite poor release on CD format as it does not contain any proper mix of the title.the 12" has the Extended Version.Oh! these record labels are so clueless!
