Notes

The album title was chosen to challenge sleeve designer Rick Griffin, who painted the infamous cartoon character Alfred E. Neuman shaking a fish but when testing the cover concept Mad magazine objected. So the final image concentrated more on the fish that the Mad icon. The band name "Man" was also written in a font resembling the Mad cartoon logo.

      This album really shocked me with some real ear worms and stunning Beatles like harmonies all over this! I bought this for my love of the band Help Yourself which share some members with this band and was not let down! Hard way and grasshopper lead this off in classic pop style with Beatles hooks, rainbow eyes is a stunningly beautiful ballad with harmonies that will roll your eyes back and day and night closes with the classic meatloaf sound before meatloaf released their classic lp. Highly recommended

        Mine is UA-LA345-G, MADE IN USA, Matrix/Runout - side 1 reads UA-LA345-G-1 REI -S7 ( or 57?) followed by eck, and further round it has B.COLE.. side 2 is similar except G-2 and BERT instead of eck, and again has B.COLE further round.
        anyone know what pressing this is? who is B.COLE?
