mgschorsij That's a shame. Other than sheer bad luck receiving a faulty copy the only thing I can think is that there's a lot of mid-high frequency information in this record, which could strain a non-optimal needle/tonearm set up? Although the fact it's worse on the outside in your case, rather than towards the center, maybe suggests it isn't that. I'm using an old Technics SL-1710 with a Goldring 1042 and it tracks without issue.

Easily one of the best sounding records I have. It always amazes me that a rock dragged through plastic can do this. Oh, and the music is great!
