Very bad edition, contains tracks from old recordings of Evans in the middle of the recording of the 87 presentation, the tracks are not in the correct order and tracks are missing

The first track is not "EXP" but "Up From The Skies". They are the titles of the first and second track, respectively on "Axis: Bold As Love" by The Jimi Hendrix Experience

When separate, Sting and the Gil Evans Orchestra usually bore me, and a lot of this CD is what I would've expected from a combination of them...but give them a Tony Williams song, apparently, and they'll rip it up. Get the DVD for the eleven-minute version of "There Comes a Time," instead of the 4-minute cut on the record & CD -- the best performance (and song, I think) of the whole show.

Track 8 is actually Synchronicity.
wierd sound to this cd which i now know is due to someone being too heavy with the noise reduction
the 3LP version of this show has a more natural sound

This album is rightly high recommended for aficionados of Rock- and Jazz Music likewise. Very vividly show with a great atmosphere. Seems to be just naturally to merge Jazz and Rock so easily. The sound quality of this record is quite excellent.
