Picadilly Line – The Huge World Of Emily Small

Decent sounding reissue. Fake stereo version and music with digital noise reduction. Packaging is nice though!

Not sure I agree with the other negative comments ...The Huge World Of Emily Small is a splendid slice of whimsical British 60's Psychedelia. This incarnation of the band that would later become Edwards Hand features also Danny Thompson and Herbie Flowers. A worthwhile rarity to have in your collection if you are into Sixties Psychedelia with shades of sunshine pop. Best track for me 'At the Third Stroke'.

Bought this brand new and sealed, but it is full of clicks and pops that are really annoying. Italian low quality pressing. Dynamics are not bad and instruments sound full. But if you also take into account that the music is nothing special (except for a couple of tracks, rather dull and bland), I strongly recommend to save your money and spend it on anything else.

A bit like Simon & Garfunkel without the attitude, or if you've heard the Edwards Hand albums, then it's not unlike the first one, but feyer.

This is a nice curio that's very much of it's time.
It's pretty lackluster tune wise despite the involvement of John Cameron.
Tumble Down World is probably the best track on the LP.
