This is my favorite hardcore-adjacent record that I own. The thrash never lets up. A palpable current of momentum courses through these songs, partially due to the ruthless speed of the riffs and singing but also because of the surprisingly tasteful blasts of harmonious feedback that bridge the spaces between tracks. This gives the impression that the recording was done all in one live take (which it may have been, I don't know) and gives the listener a real sense of watching a band rip through a live set, thanks in part to the flat mix that blends the strangely smooth but incredibly thick guitar tone with the vocals which sound completely unhinged even by McCoy's standards.

If you like the Oath at all then you really need to hear this. If you like thrashcore at all then this will probably be hit or miss depending on your tolerance for slightly uncanny stuff. If you like standard hardcore then consider branching out. For everyone else, this will probably be one of the most annoying records you could ever hear.
